RSL-1 Cutting Line
 Littell offers more possibilities for your shearing requirements.
Littell's RSL-1 equipment introduced in 2002 offers the user a low cost alternative and modular approach in addressing coil shearing needs.
The RSL-1 is designed to deliver 10,000 Metric Tons of production per annum based on 2,000 hours of operation.
The line is capable of producing both rectangular and scroll cut sheets, delivering product for can ends and bodies.
As with all Littell scroll sheeting lines the RSL-1 sheet length tolerance is guaranteed at +/-.18 mm - the best in the industry.
The base line consists of:
- 8 Ton Coil Handling Equipment (Uncoiler and Coil Loading Car).
- Straightener Machine with Double Pinch Roll, 9 Roll (small diameter/close centers) Straightener Head.
- Looping Area Equipment.
- RSL-1 Shear (20 Ton Capacity) with Electronic Feed and Carbide Stock Guide Rollers.
- Single Station Stacker capable of handling both Steel and Aluminum.
The base model can be upgraded by adding optional equipment to suit the
user's requirements - including:
- 13.6 Metric Ton Coil Capacity.
- Electronic Classification which includes Visual Inspection Mirrors, Thickness Gauge and Pinhole Detector.
- Width Capacity Increase to 1250 mm.
- Additional Stacking Stations.
